Thirteen-year old Alaa Majeed looks through the remnants of an artillery shell in Misrata, Libya. His 15-year old brother Mohammed lost part of his hand when when an unexploded rifle grenade exploded while he played with it. In the wake of weeks of heavy fighting, Misrata is filled with unexploded ordnance, and children often find items to play with that prove deadly. A team from the ACT Alliance is in Misrata to help dispose of unexploded ordnance which continues to threaten the civilian population.
