Rachel and Rennel de la Cruz, and their son John Ray, have rebuilt a temporary shelter where their home once stood in Tacloban, a city in the Philippines province of Leyte that was hit hard by Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013. The storm was known locally as Yolanda. The dwelling is in a "no build" zone declared by the Philippine government, and the family says they're hoping the government will make it possible for them to build a permanent house elsewhere.
