Heidi Ramos, the village captain, discusses with Robert Baligira, an advisor to Norwegian Church Aid, a temporary latrine that was built in her village of Cambayan in the Philippines province of Samar, shortly after the region was ravaged by Typhoon Haiyan in November 2013. Known locally as Yolanda, the storm left much of the community's infrastructure a shambles. Norwegian Church Aid, a member of the ACT Alliance, is helping the community rehabilitate its potable water system as well as build new permanent toilets.
